Inclusivity Statement
As a seed-group of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD), Corr réisc Grove adopts the following inclusivity principles:
“[OBOD] is open to followers of all faiths and none, regardless of gender, sexual orientation or ethnic origin. This statement reflects the values we consider central to our philosophy: of tolerance and inclusiveness that completely rejects expressions of racism, sexism, fascism and homophobia. OBOD is a community, a mystery school, that celebrates life in all its beauty and diversity, that seeks to protect and preserve the Earth, and that focuses on teaching Druid spirituality for the times we live in – emphasizing the virtues of compassion and respect for all of life.” (https://druidry.org/about-us)
Anyone who shares the values described above is welcome to attend our rituals and events.
Corr réisc Grove is made up of a diverse range of people with a variety of beliefs, identities and backgrounds. We welcome new people who wish to take part in this inclusive community, whether on a regular basis, or occasionally. Membership of Corr réisc Grove and attendance of our ceremonies and events is not limited to members of OBOD.
We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment towards our members, or guests, based on ethnic background, gender expression and/or identity, sexuality, age, health and/or disability, economic background, refugee status or religion/belief. We expect members of Corr réisc Grove and attendees of our events to abide by these principles.
Our ceremonies are flexible, open to personal contributions, and inclusive. We tend to follow the OBOD format, but all are welcome to participate whether you have knowledge of the Order or not: if you are not familiar with the ritual format, we provide printed scripts either in advance or on the day itself. If you have any questions, please get in touch at cambridgedruidry@gmail.com.
Many of our rituals take place outdoors, so if you have any accessibility concerns please let us know in advance by emailing us at cambridgedruidry@gmail.com.
